Dr. Akshay Kudpaje is a specialist Head & Neck Surgeon with 13 years of experience in this field. He completed his ENT training in 2010. After his basic training, he did a 2 year fellowship training in Head & Neck from KIDWAI, Bangalore. He further underwent a 3 year specialized training (MCh – Head & Neck Surgery) from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.

To gain advanced surgical expertise, he has travelled overseas to Sydney and South Korea. The one and half year clinical fellowship training in Sydney, under Prof. Carsten Palme & Prof. Faruque Riffat involved specialized training in Transoral Laser Surgery of Vocal cord & Airway along with Head & Neck Surgeries. He got his certification as an Intuitive Certified Head & Neck Robotic surgeon after his training from Yonsei University under the mentorship of Prof. Kim & Prof. Koh, Seoul, South Korea.

Currently he serves as Director, Institute of Head & Neck Sciences at Cytecare hospital, Bangalore. Previously he was the Program Director, Division of Minimally Invasive Head & Neck Surgery, Dept of Head & Neck Surgical Oncology, HCG Cancer Centre, Bangalore.
